Ingredients:
* 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
* 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
* 1 tbsp olive oil
* 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning (adjust to your spice preference – start low!)
* 1/2 tsp garlic powder
* 1/4 tsp onion powder
* 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper (any color)
* 1/2 cup chopped celery
* 1/4 cup chopped green onions
* Salt and pepper to taste
* Cooked rice or your favorite side dish
Instructions:
1. Prep the Steak: In a bowl, toss the steak cubes with 1/2 tbsp olive oil, 1/2 the Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Let it sit for about 15 minutes to marinate (optional, but adds flavor!).
2. Shrimp Seasoning: In a separate bowl, gently toss the shrimp with the remaining olive oil and Cajun seasoning.
3. Sauté the Veggies: Heat a large skillet or pan over medium heat. Add the bell pepper and celery and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
4.Cook the Steak: Add the marinated steak to the pan and cook until browned on all sides and cooked to your liking (about 5-7 minutes for medium). Remove the steak from the pan and set aside.
5.Cook the Shrimp: Add the seasoned shrimp to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and cooked through.
6. Combine & Serve:Return the steak to the pan with the shrimp and vegetables. Stir in the green onions. Heat through for a minute or two.
7. Enjoy! Serve immediately over cooked rice or your favorite side dish.
